(Bottom) Maria snatching baby Prince Mircea of Romania away from Olga after the group photo had been taken.Maria was always very lovely and natural with children, and all she wanted in life was to get married to a nice Russian man (preferably a soldier) and have lots of children. It has been reported that she, without hesitation, would snatch a baby from it’s mother’s arms and shower him or her in kisses.Sad to think she never lived long enough to get that family she wanted so much :(
